Teen Calls For Cookie Boycott, Says Girl Scouts Let Transgender Kids Threaten Her Safety, Use Cookie Money to Fund Gay Agenda
The Girl Scouts are awful aren't they? They've been giving young girls the chance to learn skills, make friends, achieve goals, and feel better about themselves for over a century. How dare they? Then one troupe goes and does something progressive to help a youngster experience a sense of belonging: They let a transgender child in. In response, a California teen is calling for a total cookie boycott.

The child whose admission to a Colorado troupe has spurned Taylor et al's hatred is 7-year-old Bobby Montoya, who was presented as a girl, and thus accepted, under the guidelines of the Girl Scouts of Colorado. The organization in Colorado, incidentally, as pointed out by their VP of communications doesn't "require any proof of gender.” That same spokeswoman also remarked she knows there are other transgendered youngsters in Girl Scout troupes around the nation.
Taylor puts the emphasis in her campaign on safety, based on her belief that it's what's underneath the uniform that makes a Girl Scout a legit girl.
Unfortunately, as the Huffington Post notes, the video Taylor made has since been marked private.
WND.com, however, has some excerpts from Taylor as stated in the video:
“The real question is, why is [The Girl Scouts of America] GSUSA willing to break their own safety rules and go against its own research institute findings to accommodate transgender boys?” [...]It's been a while since I skipped around the church basement in my Girl Guides of Canada uniform, but I'm pretty sure they don't give out badges for intolerance.“Unfortunately, I think it is because GSUSA cares more about promoting the desires of a small handful of people than it does for my safety and the safety of my friends and sister Girl Scouts, and they are doing it with money we earned for them from Girl Scout cookies.”
“Right now, GSUSA and councils are focusing on adult agendas that have nothing to do with helping girls. I ask all fellow Girl Scouts who want a true, all-girl experience not to sell any cookies until GSUSA addresses our concerns. I ask all parents of Girl Scouts who want their girls to be in a safe environment to tell their leaders why you will not allow your girls to make any more money for GSUSA.”
