Authorities are searching for three men involved in the Monday night shooting death of a 24-year-old man in Sun Valley. A Good Samaritan, the victim died in an attempt to rescue his grandfather during a mugging.

Danilo Estuardo Morales heard his 68-year-old grandfather, Manuel Flores, calling for help from his driveway in the 1800 block of Coldwater Canyon Avenue around 6:45pm. When he rushed outside, Morales saw three men fleeing to their vehicle. He chased the trio - who had just robbed Flores - and was fatally shot in the head by one of the robbers during the getaway. He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The LAPD released a photo of the alleged getaway vehicle, which is described as a white, 1997-1999, Mitsubishi Montero with a broken rear window and long rear reflector light. The suspects are described as three Hispanic males, ages 15 to 20-years-old.

Flores reportedly did not suffer any injuries during the attack but was robbed of his wallet and jewelry.

Anyone with information on the suspects is encouraged to call either Detective Castro or Detective O'Donnell, North Hollywood Homicide Detectives, at 818-623-4075. What a bunch of pussies. This isn't too far from where I live so I know their type. A bunch of bald idiots who weren't raised right. I hope their worthless parents are proud of what they created.
