The Coachella Valley Symphony is putting on a program similar to the wildly popular NY Phil "Mostly Mozart" festivals, with an all-Mozart program Monday night at 7 pm. Program includes "Marriage of Figaro Overture", Serenade for Winds, Symphony no. 29, and Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.

If Coachella is a bit of a trek for you, the LA Phil kicks off their Mahler Project this Friday the 13th, until February 5th. Joining the LA Phil is the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, and both orchestras will collaborate and repeat performances in Caracas, Venezuela (for more on Dudamel and Mahler, a short clip).

The first concert kicks off this Friday at 8 pm with Mahler's Symphony no. 4 and Songs of a Wayfarer, with repeat performances on Saturday at 8 pm and Sunday at 2 pm.
