Kaiser Permanente may want its patients to thrive, but one doctor in Montebello allegedly didn't feel the same way about a female patient.

Arturo Vargas, a 41-year-old Kaiser Permanente doctor, surrendered at the Montebello police station on Wednesday after police issued a warrant for his arrest. He was booked on suspicion of sexual penetration by a foreign object, battery by fraud and sexual exploitation by a physician, reports San Gabriel Valley Tribune.

The victim told police that she was molested by Vargas at the Kaiser offices at 1550 Town Center Drive. More information about the case should be released on Thursday during an afternoon press conference.

Vargas is currently a free man after posting $200,000 bail.

Police believe there are additional victims and urge anyone with information to call 323-887-1262.
