As the Iowa caucuses heat up today, somebody in Los Angeles wants to let the world know that they support Republican contender Ron Paul -- a street artist slapped a painting of the candidate at the bottom of a statue in Beverly Hills, with the title "Consistency."

Beverly Hills Patch reports that the portrait, which kind of looks like a pastel Mr. Brainwash, is stuck to a sculpture on North Rodeo Drive and Dayton Way and is signed with the name "Urban Alchemist."

It's not clear when the painting went up, but Patch reports seeing it for the first time yesterday.
