Christmas Day Murder: OC Man Charged With Killing His Wife While Their Children Were Home
The Orange County DA's office has charged a man with murdering his wife on Christmas.William Wallace, 30, of Anaheim has been charged with beating his wife 26-year-old Zazell Preston to death, according to City News Service. Wallace called the police to request medical help for his wife on Christmas morning, but by the time Preston got to the hospital, she was pronounced dead.
Authorities believed that Wallace attacked Preston sometime between Christmas Eve and Christmas morning while their 7-week-old baby and her 3- and 7-year-old children from a previous relationship were home. Preston died from blunt force trauma to her head.
