Special Delivery Caught on Tape: FedEx Driver Casually Lobs Fragile Package Over Gate

A FedEx driver was caught on a security camera casually lobbing a package over the gate of a Southern California resident like it was a football — and not a computer monitor.

The addressee uploaded the video from a security camera and wrote:

Here is a video of my monitor being "delivered". The sad part is that I was home at the time with the front door wide open. All he would have had to do was ring the bell on the gate. Now I have to return my monitor since it is broken.

News outlets have identified this video as being shot somewhere in Southern California, though they don't say where. FedEx said that it's taking steps to discipline this driver. "This is an irresponsible act and it will not be tolerated," FedEx spokeswoman Shea Leordeanu told the New York Post. The spokeswoman didn't say whether he'd be fired: "He will be worked with according to our disciplinary policies."
