Southern California Edison employees are returning to work today, just four days after the December 16 shooting rampage.

"This is their first day back. Obviously it's very difficult," Edison spokeswoman Vanessa McGrady told L.A. Now. Grief counselors will be available to the 1,050 employees of the Irwindale offices. Security at the complex has also been increased.

Edison systems analyst Andre Turner gunned down four coworkers on Friday and then took his own life. His photo was released to the public yesterday. Two of the victims - Henry Serrano and Robert Lindsay - died from their wounds. They were both supervisors. Abhay Pimpale was released from the hospital over the weekend; Angela Alvarez remains in serious condition.

Investigators have yet to determine a motive for the shootings. Reports have surfaced claiming that Turner, who had worked at the company for seven years, received a verbal reprimand for missing an audit deadline and that he may have been suffering financial turmoil. A law enforcement source told L.A. Now, "Witnesses describe him as calm and calculated -- even making smalltalk between the shootings."

KABC reports that over 250 people attended Sunday's memorial service for the victims. Flags at all Edison buildings have flown at half staff to remember the victims as well.
