Kanye and Jay-Z Performed 'N****s in Paris' 26 Times in Three L.A. Concerts

On their "Watch the Throne" Tour, Kanye and Jay-Z have going crazy with their "N***** in Paris" encores. At their first show in Atlanta, they performed it three times and it only escalated from there.

By the time they got to Los Angeles, they had worked up to performing it seven times in a row. At the next show, they performed it nine times and last night they went all out and performed it ten times, according to the OC Weekly. Altogether, they've run through it 26 times while they were in town, which may or may not constitute the hip hop equivalent of a marathon.

Why? The lyrics say, "No one knows what it means, but it's provocative and gets the people going." The Huffington Post says it was because the duo needed a lot of takes for a video.

  • Saw it live on Sunday when they performed it 7 times. People started walking out after the 5th time.

  • It can't be because they need takes for a video because they've been doing this at every single concert on this tour—it's just how they do it live. I think it's poking fun at how ridiculous this song is?
