Video: Naked Hummer Limo Robber Gets Tackled By Police Dog
A Tustin man accused of stealing a Hummer limousine was arrested on Saturday night after fleeing from the vehicle during a police pursuit. The best part about his arrest was that the suspect was completely naked.
Irvine Police Department Lt. Julia Engen told L.A. Now that the suspect, Ahmad Mabrok, approached the limo driver at the intersection of Sand Canyon Avenue and Burt Road in Irvine around 8:15pm on Saturday. Mabrok, 29, was allegedly armed with a gun. There were no passengers in the limo at the time of the heist.
California Highway Patrol officers pursued Mabrok until he pulled over in Whittier and bared all to the officers while attempting to escape on foot. The Daily Mail reports that Mabrok was chased and tackled by a police dog. The German Shepherd secured Mabrok on the ground until officers arrested him. He was later sent to the hospital.
Engen said of Mabrok's nudity, "How it happened, I don't know."
