Heads up Studio City and Santa Monica, you're about to get more burgers! Stout, the burger restaurant that opened up two years ago in Hollywood's now burger-loaded Cahuenga Corridor, is prepping a second location in Studio City, to be followed by a third in Santa Monica.

Construction is already underway in Studio City for the Ventura Boulevard location, which is a respectably safe distance from the area's two major burger spots, The Counter and Umami, both at Ventura and Laurel Canyon. Stout Studio City is expected have a similar feel to the Hollywood location, and will have a large outdoor patio. Diners will order from a "slightly expanded" menu from the original. Construction should be done in late January, when construction at the Santa Monica location is expected to get underway.

  • We all know Fred Durst owns this restaurant right? https://twitter.com/#!/freddur...

  • He doesn't own the restaurant. I'm not even sure that he's affiliated in any way with it. I think he's just a fan. I am a regular at Stout in Hollywood.
