Taco Bell's taco supreme might come with a whole bunch of fillings, but staples are not on the menu. A local woman has filed a complaint against a Santa Monica Taco Bell location when she said she found four staples inside her lunch.

Agnes Ortiz says she got the taco from the drive-thru for lunch with her daughter. She took the taco home to eat it, and "choked" on a staple, then found "three other blackened or rusty staples" inside her taco, according to KTLA.

Ortiz considers herself a "valuable customer" of that Taco Bell, but says she believes the staples going into her taco as an added ingredient was "deliberate."

The woman says she got in touch with the Taco Bell manager and regional manager, and was "asked not to file a police report," however she went ahead and contacted authorities, who briefly shut down the restaurant Wednesday night to investigate her claim. Ortiz has also hired a lawyer.

"Ortiz denies placing the staples in her own food for financial gain," adds KTLA. Taco Bell says they will look into her claim.

this is bs. they deliberately put RUSTY/BLACKENED staples in her food? like they knew who they were serving as she's in the drive-thru.  Where do employees find HALF-bent rusty/blackened staples? do they have a box of those, ready to use? choked on it? if you're hungry you'd probably either bite into it or swallow it.  she must not be very "valuable" if it was "deliberate"
