Hit-and-Run Crash on 605 Leaves One Dead
One man was killed after a hit-and-run crash on the 605 freeway in Norwalk at about 5:30 this morning.
City News Service reports that the crash, which involved multiple vehicles including a taxi, happened on the northbound side of the freeway just south of Imperial Highway. The victim, who is in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. A description of the hit-and-run vehicle hasn't been released, nor has the man's name.
All lanes of the freeway were shut down for about an hour. They've now all been reopened.
