Say it Ain't So: There's Talk of Another 'Hangover' Movie

Anyone who had the unfortunate experience of sitting through "The Hangover Part II" can tell you that it was little more than a regurgitation of the script from "The Hangover," set in Thailand and therefore featuring more racist stereotypes about Asian people.

Like the "Sex and the City" movies, one desperately hoped that the producers would thank their lucky stars that they were able to pull the wool over movie-going audiences' eyes enough to get them to show up to this ridiculous sequel, then pocket the cash and run.

But instead, the Huffington Post brings us the following atrocity: Bradley Cooper wondering aloud about whether the next iteration of "The Hangover" might not be set in our very own town.

"I think it will take place in Los Angeles and maybe not adhere to the structure. It might be different," he said in an interview on the Graham Norton Show.

None of this is a good idea. Some of us have clung to the few fond memories of "The Hangover" that we were able to salvage following the train wreck that was "The Hangover Part II" -- it would be best if we could now leave well enough alone.

I watched this the other night for a second time. The Wolf pack is funny and I never get enough of the crazy stuff they do. Now there are talks of a third installment. I think that there needs to be a fresh script. This I do agree was more like the first but in Thailand. I hope that we see some fresh change if the third one arrives. I think I will go back and watch the first since I feel that was the better of the two. I enjoy my unlimited access to the blockbuster movie pass. Getting thousands of movies, games and TV shows is a great way to maximize my TV entertainment. Having no late fees or due dates let’s me enjoy my games longer. The DVD’s by mail to my door is a bonus. While I wait for my next DVD I can still stream to my TV or the PC. Getting quick swap outs is a breeze, with unlimited in-store exchange. I never had this feature when I was a Netflix user. Now I pay less and get more features for a low $10 per month. This was so easy to set up with my DISH employee service. This is the best way to get my entertainment needs. All new customers who sign up get this offer free for a year.

  • I've been perfecting my personal hangover cure over the course of many
years. In actual fact, there are different types of hangovers, depending
on what you have been drinking.

Both Hangovers were stupid but in a perfectly entertaining way.  In fact I think since I was deafened by the hype of the first one I didn't enjoy it and with the second one I felt I got exactly what it said on the box. As if racial (not "racist" as the author asserts) stereotypes didn't have a place in comedy, come on.  Hangover II was a ridiculous good time.

I think the worst thing about The Hangover II is that some involved refused to work with Mel Gibson but perfectly fine working with a convicted rapist.  (and I'm Jewish)

The part where Mike Tyson sang 'One Night in Bangkok' in The Hangover II did it in for me.

    No more.
