Doesn't this cold weather make you want to get up and get out? No? Well, maybe tonight's events lineup will do the trick. Kate Flannery of "The Office" is taking the comedy stage, "Superman" is gracing the silver screen, ladies are flocking together for a night of feminine fun and West Hollywood is beckoning shoppers. Still too cold to part ways with your couch? Soft Swells is rocking the Echo, The Moth is back for a night of "Warning Signs" and UCLA students are prepping to run around campus in their skivvies. Motivated? That's more like it. Enjoy.

L.A. duo Soft Swells will showcase new tunes from their upcoming Soft Swells debut LP at the Echo along with bands Jealous Sound and Bad Veins. Doors open at 8:30pm. $10 advance tickets. $12 tickets at the door. 18+.
STORYTELLING
The Moth LA returns with a "Warning Signs" StorySLAM. Brave storytellers will memorize their five-minute, true tales and take the stage - if chosen - at Zanzibar in Santa Monica. Non-storytellers can either volunteer to join a judging team or just sit back, listen and laugh. The M.O.Eggrolls food truck will be out front serving up its "Jewnese" treats. Doors open at 7pm. Stories begin at 7:30pm. Pre-sale tickets are sold out, but a number of tickets will be available at the door for $8.
UNDIE RUN
UCLA students will brave the chilly temps and strip down into their intimate apparel for the Fall 2011 Quarterly Underground Undie Run. Undie runners will meet at the grassy hill on Strathmore and Gayley, proceed east towards the football field, north towards intramural field, east to Bruin Plaza and finish their nearly nude trot south at Ackerman turnaround. Check out the Facebook event for further details. 11:30pm-2:30am. Free.
