300 Pound Naked Bodybuilder on Steroids Attacks Couple
A bodybuilder under the influence of steroids and other drugs allegedly attacked a Southern Californian couple in their own home this weekend, and the victims remain hospitalized. 22-year-old Ruben Arzu was waiting on the porch of the couple's Colton home Saturday night, according to the SB Sun. The 300-pound suspect was naked and amped up; as the female resident, 34, went inside to call authorities, the male resident, 35, confronted Arzu.
Arzu attacked the husband, says Colton police Cpl. Ray Mendez, causing "major head trauma and injuries." When the wife emerged from the home, Arzu shifted his attention to her. "Police said the man picked up and threw the woman around, causing facial injuries and multiple deep cuts to the top of her head."
The suspect ran, but was surrounded by neighbors in a nearby back yard. Though cops used a Taser on Arzu, it did not subdue him, and ultimately four officers were needed to cuff and restrain him.
Authorities say Arzu will be charged with "attempted homicide and aggravated mayhem."
