If you've ever wanted to use public transportation to go somewhere new (or just get home), you know what a gift from the gods it is to be able to use Google Maps to quickly figure out routes and schedules.
Now two key parts of Los Angeles-area public transportation systems have been added to Google Maps according to KCET: DASH and commuter express.
The short-range buses of DASH are sometimes the quickest and easiest way to get from point A to point B or to link you to your next public transportation connection. The DASH costs 50 cents and is air-conditioned on warm days. The Commuter Express helps you go long distances without a zillion stops. We appreciate both services from LADOT, which leaves us with only one question: what took so long?
