Local Students Granted Wind Day
Students are rejoicing today after high winds have forced school district and campus closures throughout the San Gabriel Valley and Los Angeles area. Power outages and debris plagued residents last night and have continued to wreak havoc into this morning.

Azusa Unified
La Canada Unified
Monrovia Unified
Pasadena Unified
San Gabriel Unified
San Marino Unified
South Pasadena Unified
Campus closures:
Campbell Hall in Studio City
Flintridge Preparatory School
Pasadena City College
Westridge School in Pasadena
L.A. Unified School District reported that all schools are open today.
A high wind advisory is in effect for L.A. County Coast and Downtown L.A. until noon on Friday.
