SoCal Teacher Allegedly Showed Students Porn Film

Ah, the last day of school...a day for getting signatures in your yearbook, turning in your textbooks, trashing the contents of your notebooks and lockers, and watching a porno movie with your teacher. Oh, hold up: That's totally not what's supposed to happen, is it?

A teacher at Castle Park High School in the SoCal community of Chula Vista is under investigation by the Sweetwater Union High School District following allegations he or she showed an illicit film to students on the last day of school last year, according to Sign On San Diego.

At the time of the District's preliminary investigation, Superintendent Ed Brand said there was "no merit" to the charges, and the teacher in question, whose identity has not been revealed, remains employed at the school. While SUHSD became aware of the allegations earlier this month, Castle Park's principal reportedly had been looking into the claim for weeks.

That same principal, just days before news of the porn viewing allegations broke, also dismissed "a potentially alleged sex crime against a juvenile," that took place in the Castle Park cafeteria as “horseplay that went too far.”

The SUHSD is expected to conclude their investigation into the alleged porn film showing in the coming days.

I agree this is most likely "Much Ado About Nothing". But what really bothers me is none of this stuff was going on when I was in school. No blow-jobs, no sex in seedy motels, no sexting, and no cheating on her husband with her. Kids today have it too good.

When I was in high school (Northern California, not down here), a fellow student (known affectionately as "Porno Mike") attempted to conduct a science project in which he measured fellow students' reactions to a screened porn film. Because of the relative autonomy granted student projects & scattered classrooms, no faculty would have found out. Except, in typical teenage fashion, the control group complained to faculty that they didn't get a piece of the action & we all got busted for it.

Imma withhold judgment, but I have a feeling this "porn film" was probably something that had either some nudity, 'bad' language, or some combo of both and somebody got their PC knickers in a knot....
