Occupy! Occupy! Occupy! NOFX Rocks Occupy LA

NOFX took to Occupy LA on Sunday afternoon, performing an acoustic version of "Occupy" for protesters pre-eviction.

The 99% claps and sings along, despite the 1% trio strumming before them. Early on in the song, each musician sings a seemingly improvised verse in honor of the global movement.

Mike Burkett sings, "My name is Mike Burkett, I'm part of the 1%. But I'm here to drink some beer and occupy."

Then Eric Melvin attempts, "I'm Eric, but I can't sing too well, but I can chant. Occupy! Occupy! Occupy!"

And finally John from Tennessee sings, "Well, I'm John from Tennessee, and all I wanna see is democracy."

It's an Occupy LA day here at LAist, and we're keeping you chewing on the subject with today's musical video lunch.
