LAst Night's Action: Ducks Still Can't Win
Toronto Maple Leafs defeat Anaheim Ducks 5-2. After Francois Beauchemin gave the Ducks the 1-0 lead, in a span of 19 seconds the Maple Leafs went from tying the game on a Tyler Bozak power-play goal to getting the lead by Clarke MacArthur thanks to a sloppy turnover by the Ducks. Joey Crabb and Bozak added to the Leafs’ lead until Corey Perry tried to will the Ducks to a win with a goal of his own. However this is not the last half of last season, and Perry couldn’t now put the team on his shoulders. Luke Schenn got the empty-netter at the end of regulation to seal the deal. The Ducks have now lost 16 of their 18 games getting only eight points during that span that dates back to Oct. 21.
Oklahoma City Thunder at LA Clippers. Cancelled.
