LAst Night's Action: USC Beats Pac-12 South Champion

USC Trojans defeat UCLA Bruins 50-0. So there you saw the Pac-12 South Champions get their asses handed to them by the team that ends the season in first place in the Pac-12 South. Thanks to the NCAA, that sentence is not only factual but completely logical. Go figure.

Instead of wearing their home blues at the Coliseum, UCLA wanted to make a statement with the fancy schmancy Adidas all-white uniforms. Thankfully for John Waters’ sake, USC collectively acted like Kathleen Turner avenging that fashion crime - you NEVER wear white after Labor Day.

Trojans’ quarterback Matt Barkley ended the game going 35-of-42 for 423 yards and six touchdowns. Of course Heisman Trophy voters will most likely ignore Barkley’s output for the last month since they can’t bother to watch a West Coast game and have a bias against USC and their sanctions. Curtis McNeal rushed for 124 yards on 12 carries including a 73-yard touchdown run. Marquise Lee and Robert Woods each caught two touchdown passes while Randall Telfer and Rhett Ellison caught a touchdown pass each.

I guess that gap hasn’t really closed, eh?
