Pets of the Week: Bibi & Popeye

This is Bibi (11-02501), a 6-year-old petite female Torti. Her owner fell on some hard times, so now she is at the shelter looking for a new beginning. Although she can be shy at first, she is quite the snuggle-bug once she warms up. Bring out the brush, and she will be your best friend!

Before she goes home, she will be spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. During her stay at spcaLA, she participated in the HEAL Program to help her with basic manners and socialization.

Popeye.jpg Looking for a well-trained dog? Popeye (11-04651) is your man! He is a 2-year-old male Pittie mix. He loves other dogs, especially small ones, and he adores children. He graduated from spcaLA's Obedience 1 Training Class and I'm currently participating in the Teaching Love and Compassion (TLC) program where he is being trained by at-risk youth. He already knows the basic commands such as come, sit, and stay, plus tons of fun tricks! He'd love to meet you, so please stop by the shelter and check him out.

Bibi and Popeye are available at the South Bay Pet Adoption Center in Hawthorne. So far this year, the South Bay PAC has had 526 adoptions. Let's make it 528 and find these two pets a loving home!
