A Texan vandal received his punishment prematurely on Wednesday after falling from a 20-foot awning at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Century City.

Adam Rendon, a 44-year-old man from Helotes, Texas, was allegedly vandalizing property inside the lobby of the hotel. A private security guard chased Rendon, which ended in Rendon falling from the second floor and through the awning.

L.A. Now reports that Sgt. Levy of the LAPD said, "Alcohol was definitely a factor."

Once Rendon is released from the hospital, he will be booked for felony vandalism.

Sounds like Texas shouldn't mess with Los Angeles...
