Avril Lavigne & Manfriend Assaulted at Roosevelt Hotel
For Avril Lavigne, nightlife is complicated. The rock and roller doesn't like your girlfriend, and five people at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on Saturday night apparently did not like Lavigne.
Lavigne, 27, and boyfriend Brody Jenner, 28, both became victims of assault during their night out on the town. Lavigne tweeted about the incident yesterday.
"I don't fight. I don't believe in it. To clear things up I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is fucked." Ouch. She tweeted the gory details shortly thereafter. "As in black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts. So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer."
TMZ reported that Lavigne and an unknown female exposed their claws shortly before 1am. When Jenner tried to break up the catfight, he was cracked in the head with a bottle. Jenner spoke to the police, refused medical attention then headed to the hospital on his own. No arrests were made in the brawl.
As for Lavigne's recovery, it sounds like one of her best bros is taking good care of her.
She tweeted this morning, "Thank you @EvanT for coming over to visit me today and bringing me a hello kitty ice pack. I'm so lucky to have a friend like you."
