Bryan Stow, the 42-year-old Giants fan who was brutally attacked outside of Dodgers Stadium on March 31, has been showing slow signs of improvement over the last few months. Today, Stow surpassed yet another recovery milestone. He wrote his name on a piece of paper.
Support4BryanStow, a website created and managed by Stow's family, updated followers today on his latest achievement and included the remarkable document (below).
The post, excitedly dubbed "Bryan wrote his name! 11/2/11," included the following bit from the family. "This picture speaks volumes and we are so proud of him!"
A $50 million civil suit has been filed against the Dodgers by Stow's family, and in the team's defense, Attorney Jerome Jackson says Stow could be partly to blame for the vicious attack. During a recent 710 ESPN radio interview, Jackson mentions that Stow was too drunk to drive home after the opening day game.
The Dodgers have filed suit against the two suspects charged in the beating - Louie Sanchez, 29, and Marvin Norwood, 30.
