WeHo Carnaval Clean-Up Crew Clears Streets in Time for Morning Commute
West Hollywood's Costume Carnaval is well-known as the best place to get your revel on for Halloween, replete as it is with giant crowds, fabulous costumes and drunken faceplants.
And as always, the morning after presents a fun challenge for clean-up crews. CBS News reports that following last night's festivities, which included about 250,000 partygoers as well as 250 police officers, crews were hoping to have streets cleaned by 6:00 a.m. in time for the morning commute.
According to CBS, they were right on time with the last stretch on San Vicente between Melrose and Santa Monica.
And it was no easy task.
“There were a lot of intoxicated people,” partygoer Nate Hanager told CBS2’s Kara Finnstrom. “It was hard to take even one full step in one direction.”
