White Supremacist Methhead Plots Own Boyfriend's Mugging
Gentlemen, do not date Alana Cosette Hayes. The 27-year-old female arranged the mugging of her boyfriend in hopes of scoring some cash. And better yet, Hayes and her two accomplices are all white supremacist methheads - a classy trio indeed.
Hayes and her 26-year-old boyfriend from Rancho Santa Margarita, who declined identification in fear of retaliation, were walking to the beach from the gated community of Irvine Cove in Laguna Beach around 8:30pm on Sunday when a man wearing a bandanna and armed with a knife approached the couple. He forced the couple to the ground, threatening to stab them if they ran. The suspect, 29-year-old Tasmen Lamont Lorenson, stole the victim's car keys, wallet and new iPhone (Siri, help!). Lorenson fled the scene and then stole the victim's 2003 Mercedes Benz C240.
Laguna Beach police recovered the vehicle at the Harbor Bay Motel in Costa Mesa, where they found Lorenson and a second suspect, 19-year-old Cassaira Leann Simmons, who had also been driving the stolen car. The victim's wallet and his iPhone were also recovered from the motel.
Authorities then learned of a third suspect in the mugging - Hayes. She was arrested and booked for robbery, auto theft, conspiracy and possession of a controlled substance plus held on $50,000 bail. Lorenson has been booked on charges of robbery, auto theft and conspiracy and was being held on $50,000 bail. Simmons was charged with possession of stolen property and was being held on $20,000 bail.
Police say all three victims are associated with white supremacy groups in Orange County.
