20-Year-Old Man Commits Suicide By Leaping from Dam
A 20-year-old man leapt 100 feet to his death from Rindge Dam on Malibu Creek on Tuesday. Officials are treating the incident as a suicide.
The body was retrieved yesterday by a county fire department paramedic, confirming the death. Sheriff's deputies delivered the body to coroner's investigators on Wednesday morning.
Another young person was rescued from a ledge around 5pm on Tuesday. Authorities have not released the names of either persons.
