For the second time this year, Fresh & Easy is recalling its own brand of bagged spinach over concerns that it might be tainted with listeria.

The recall affects the stores' "Washed Spinach" in a 12 oz bag with the "Enjoy by" date of October 16, according to a press release put out by the company. One bag of the spinach tested positive for listeria, so Fresh & Easy wanted to recall the whole batch. The last recall was also prompted by concerns over listeria. The company pulled bags of spinach with an "Enjoy by" date of August 1.

No injuries or sicknesses have been reported.

Fresh & Easy is not alone in its recalls. There have been spinach recalls over salmonella and listeria outbreaks affecting many food items, including cantaloupes.

The recalled product was sold in Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market stores located in California, Nevada, and Arizona. Customers may return the empty product bag or present the receipt of the recalled spinach to any Fresh & Easy store for a full refund. Consumers who have questions or concerns can contact Fresh & Easy at 1 (800) 648-8622.
