An attorney visiting his jailed client could be facing time himself after a drug-sniffing dog caught him trying to sneak in 26 balloons full of heroin, meth, pot and syringes to a downtown courthouse.

Attorney Kenneth Markman, 47, found out he was not above the law, when he was busted on the 11th floor of the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center with $30,000 worth of drugs, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Markman is being charged with conspiracy to distribute narcotics, transportation of methamphetamine and heroin, transportation of narcotics into a custody facility and participation with criminal street gang members in felonious conduct. He is being held in lieu of $145,000 bail.
