Narrowing down this evening's event offerings was a difficult task, but we're happy to be the ones to do it. The list begins with free fashion and ends with free wine tasting. Yes, please, to both. Rodarte talks about their new book, a double feature screens "Easy Rider" and Andrew's Cheese Shop presents its monthly lesson in fromage. Beats for Boobs celebrates to raise funds for local breast cancer nonprofits, four authors compete for the crown and Pacific Standard Time gets religious. Also happening tonight are two recurring Wednesday events - free wine tasting at gLAnce Wine Bar and the Bayside High School Musical. Take your pick, and please report back.

FASHION LECTURE
Rodarte (Kate and Laura Mulleavy) join Catherine Opie and Alec Soth in a discussion about their recent book, "Rodarte, Catherine Opie, Alec Soth," at the Hammer Museum. The first publication to explore the world of Rodarte, the book features the works of two of the art world’s most acclaimed photographers. 7pm. Free. Reservations not accepted, RSVPs not required.

FILM
UCLA Film & Television Archive and the Million Dollar Theater present an "On the Road" double feature of "Easy Rider," directed by and starring Dennis Hopper, and "Two-Lane Blacktop," directed by Monte Hellman. 7:30pm. $10 general admission; $9 students and seniors. The UCLA student free ticket policy does not apply, and tickets are available only at the theater box office, which opens one hour before the program start time on the day of the show.

FOOD
Ah oui, le fromage. Andrew's Cheese Shop schools cheese lovers in Cheese 101 tonight, covering the history, origin and the basics of this dairy delight. Taught by Andrew himself, the course offers samples of the shop's most famous cheeses. 7:30pm-9:30pm. $30 (plus tax). Interested students should reserve their spots online.

FUNDRAISER*
The inaugural Beats for Boobs Los Angeles fundraiser, dubbed Mission: Possible, will raise money for local breast cancer nonprofits via art, fashion, food, music and education at Key Club in West Hollywood. All in the name of boob, the event includes a runway show, live graffiti installations, exhibited artworks, a Boobie Prize Wheel, delicacies by local eateries and live DJs. The Busted Foundation and Boarding for Breast Cancer are the event's beneficiaries. 7pm-2am. Online ticket sales have ended, but tickets are still available for $30-$100 cash at the door.

LITERARY COMPETITION
Four established and emerging authors will perform their most dynamic works in seven minutes or less in Literary Death Match at Busby's East. Entertaining before a live audience and a panel of three judges, readers will be evaluated based on literary merit, performance and intangibles. Authors compete for the Literary Death Match crown as the show's literary sensibility turns absurd and comical. Doors open at 8pm; show starts at 9:15pm. $7 online; $10 at the door.

RELIGION LECTURE
As part of Pacific Standard Time at The Getty Center, Jack Miles, scholar of Christianity, and David Biale, scholar of Judaism, will explore Gospel and Mishnah and the distinction between scripture and commentary in a conversation entitled "And in the End Was Commentary: How the Gospels and the Mishnah Happened Side by Side." The discussion accompanies the current exhibit "In the Beginning Was the Word: Medieval Gospel Illumination." 7pm. Free. Reservations are required and can be made online or by calling 310-440-7300.

THEATRE
Zack, Kelly, Screech, Lisa, Jessie, A.C. and Mr. Belding - the gang’s all here! Bayside High School Musical flashes back to the 80s and 90s with a musical parody of the beloved sitcom “Saved by the Bell.” The musical opened on August 10 and will take place double-feature-style every Wednesday through October at The Victory Theatre Center in Burbank until Jessie overdoes on caffeine pills, A.C. pulls a muscle or Zack’s hair goes flat. Tickets for 8pm shows cost $15; tickets for 10pm shows cost $10 and include two beers when booked online.

WINE TASTING
Although California Wine Month has wrapped, gLAnce Wine Bar at JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. Live will continue its Meet the Winemaker series every Wednesday through December 7. Guests will sip complimentary wine tastings plus enjoy a sampling of small seasonal bites prepped by the hotel's chef. Tonight's featured winery is Battaglini Winery from Russian River Valley. 5:30pm-7pm. Free.
