Man Molests 11-Year-Old at Mall, Surrenders After Fleeing

An 11-year-old boy was sexually assaulted at the Westfield Valencia Town Center on Monday afternoon while inside a public restroom in the food court area of the mall. The molester has been identified as 25-year-old Casey Crockett of Santa Clarita.

The victim reported the incident to his father, who approached Crockett in the courtyard of the food court. A physical altercation ensued, and the suspect fled the scene. Crockett turned himself in at the Santa Clarita Sheriff's Station at 3pm on Tuesday.
