Pedestrian Struck & Killed by Car on 10 Freeway, May Have Been Naked Runner
Early morning commuters on the westbound 10 Freeway endured especially dreadful traffic this morning due to a tragic traffic incident. A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle.
The incident occurred near the La Brea Avenue exit. KABC reports the incident as occurring around 6am while L.A. Now states 4:45am as the time of the accident. Three lanes were closed on the westbound freeway, causing a traffic jam for miles. Lanes reopened around 6:45am.
Authorities have yet to release information regarding the victim, though a California Highway Patrol incident log showed reports of a naked man running on the roadside at about the time of the accident.
