Prince Frederic von Anhalt, husband of actress Zsa Zsa Gabor, has announced his candidacy for L.A. mayor in 2013. Anhalt reportedly put up a(nother) billboard as part of his proclamation and will make a formal announcement on Thursday morning in West Hollywood.

In plain view of drivers on Sunset Boulevard, the billboard reads, "Prince Frederic for Mayor," with the subline, "Get Los Angeles back to work... lower taxes... lower DWP bills." It also displays his website, which is available in three languages: English, German and Spanish.

Anhalt, 68, hopes to tackle the homelessness and unemployment issues plaguing the city.

The man is ambitious. In 2010, he declared his independent candidacy for Governor of California. Due to Gabor's health issues, he withdrew from the race.

After breaking her hip in a fall at her Bel Air home, Gabor, 94, has continuously visited the hospital for over a year. Her right leg was amputated in January after it became infected with gangrene.
