Car Crashes Into Baldwin Hills Mall, Dangles Over Balcony

A vehicle with two adult female occupants crashed through the entrance of the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza mall this morning, and came to a stop dangling about 20 feet over the edge of a second-story balcony.

The Los Angeles Fire Department say the car traveled about 70 feet through the front doors. "The car apparently came through some glass doors [...] into the mall, before lodging itself near the escalators, a woman at the mall said," adds the Daily Breeze.

The mall was closed at the time of the crash, which was reported at about 8:47 a.m. Wednesday. The women inside the vehicle were not injured, and the LAFD say the car will be removed via private tow truck.
