What would you do if greeted by a 6-foot python? Run? So would we. A similar nightmare transpired on Tuesday around 12:30pm in the parking lot of the Buena Park Mall. A man called police to report the snake, stating that he first witnessed the reptile slithering through the parking lot. Apparently, the snake prefers American-made vehicles and came to rest underneath a Ford Focus.
"He couldn't believe what he saw at first and after closer examination realized it was real," said Buena Park police Cpl. Andy Luong, according to OC Register. Animal control officers removed the python, which will be held by animal control for five business days to give the owner a chance to claim his serpent. After the five day period, the python will be put up for adoption. Any takers?
No injuries were reported in the incident, and anyone with information about the owner should call Buena Park police at 714-562-3902.
