47-Year-Old Man Allegedly Caught Molesting 2-Year-Old Granddaughter

A Banning man was arrested yesterday after he was discovered molesting a 2-year-old child, reports CBS News.

The child's mother found Antonio Peralta Garcia, 47, committing a sex act against her daughter when she returned home to her apartment yesterday just before 2:00 p.m. She confronted Garcia and he left, but was taken into custody a few blocks away.

The girl is Garcia's granddaughter.

Garcia is being held at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility on $1 million bail, and is charged with attempted oral copulation of a child under 10 years old and lewd acts on a minor. If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison.

Being a mom I can only imagine what it was like for this mother to walk in on her own father molesting his grandchild. Goes to show you can't trust anyone around your children, including relatives. I will never understand how a pedophile's mind works because I can't fathom being attracted to a 2 year old child and acting on this sick perversion. I'm sure when his fellow inmates find out what he did they'll make his stay in prison a living hell. It might be a good idea to have the word pedophile tattooed on all child molesters and rapists foreheads which would make it harder for them to reoffend. Castration is also something the court should introduce for these low-lives. I recently read a post written by a victim of molestation I would like to share.http://www.peoplesinsight.com/article...
