The G2 Gallery wants you to "get local" this Sunday by joining them for their CSA (Community Sustainable Agriculture) Kick Off Party. Serving as a produce drop stop for CSA California, the gallery brings fresh, organic, seasonal fruits and veggies to Venice's bustling Abbot Kinney Boulevard every Tuesday from 6pm to 7pm. This Sunday from 2pm to 4pm, Angelenos have the chance to meet the folks who make it all happen and more.

Event highlights boast a live demo hosted by raw vegan Chef Lauren, Judith Johnson will read from "Feeling Great with Jasper State," an entertaining book motivating youngsters to eat their greens, speakers from CSA California will school attendees on the origins of their food and interested visitors have the chance to sign up to become CSA members. And of course, guests will sample local, artisanal eats. G2 also welcomes visitors to view the gallery's current photography exhibits, including Miriam Schulman's "Arachnophilia" and Christine Caldwell's "Nature LA" series.

Admission is just $5 per person, $10 per family and free to those who go local and sign up for a CSA membership. All proceeds will benefit the Environmental Media Association's School Garden Program, which contributes to local learning gardens at Westminster Elementary and Venice High School.
