Slow Ride: Pleasure Chest Celebrates 40th Anniversary with Sex and Bikes

If so, have we got an event for you! In celebration of their 40th anniversary, adult store The Pleasure Chest is hosting an event called the Sex Scandal Bike Ride. Taking place on September 17 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m, the event will be a slow ride through the streets of Los Angeles, where tour guides will point out where all kinds of sexy, dirty deeds have been done by public and not-so-public figures.
Participants are encouraged to wear sexy costumes to get their bike on, although presumably nothing that could get caught in the spokes. Conveniently, since it's almost Halloween, those in search of naughty outfits need only hit the aisles of their local Rite Aid.
For those of us that don't consider ourselves bicycle enthusiasts, there's still good news: The Pleasure Chest welcomes anyone who wants to forgo the ride to join them at the store at 6:00 p.m. for champagne, hot dogs and ice cream from the Sweet Beats Ice Cream Truck.
