Trio of L.A. Locals 'Outwit, Outplay, Outlast' in 'Survivor: South Pacific'
Angelenos, if you're searching for a reason to watch "Survivor: South Pacific," we have three. A trio of L.A. locals will contend with fifteen other castaways in the 23rd installment of the popular reality series.
One local is Oscar "Ozzy" Lusth, a 30-year-old surfer from Venice. A "Survivor" veteran, Ozzy will compete for the third time. "I'm here to play in a humble way, but I'm also here to win," said Lusth, who will be a member of the Savaii Tribe, along with Semhar Tadesse, a 24-year-old spoken-word artist from L.A., reports Daily Breeze.
The third Angeleno to brave the South Pacific is Edna Ma, a 35-year-old anesthesiologist from L.A. Ma will join the Upolu Tribe.
"Survivor: South Pacific" premieres Wednesday at 8pm on CBS with a 90-minute episode. Winner takes all, and all equals $1 million (pinky to corner of mouth).
