Straight Outta McFly's Closet, Nike Unveils Self-Lacing Shoes

Today's video lunch could change your life. Nike is apparently unleashing a self-lacing "Marty McFly" sneaker dubbed Nike Air Mag. The company is a few years ahead of schedule, as these technologically advanced kicks were seen in "Back to the Future II," set in 2015.

Sneakerheads are rightfully amped for this new footwear, and the Nice Kicks blog posted the below video plus a photo of an invitation to the formal shoe unveiling. A private reception is slated for tonight at 8:30 at The Montalban in Hollywood. It "could change the course of time," reads the invite. The blog shared documents from the US Patent Office detailing the fancy footwear in August 2010.
