Harvard Study Says DRINK, Ladies!

Ladies, stop everything immediately and find an alcoholic beverage. You heard us. Go ahead. Indulge. We have the perfect justification. A new study by Harvard University researchers made the brilliant discovery that women in their late 50s who averaged three to fifteen drinks per week boasted about 30% higher odds of remaining free of chronic illness and mental health issues at age 70.

Practicing self-medication in moderation is preventive. Got it.

Now we all have an excuse for our actions this evening. Bottoms up!

Having not read the article, I must caution: By the time you reach the age range 50-60, many people will have already been cautioned to give up alcohol because of health problems or medication treating health problems. Thus, the lack of health problems becomes, in a sense, a "cause" of drinking, rather than the other way around.

Thanks for the validation, Harvard! Yay!
