Celebrating Buddy Holly's Hollywood Star & Would-Be 75th Birthday

The Hollywood Walk of Fame honors the late Buddy Holly today with his very own star. Though the rock & roll pioneer died in a tragic plane crash in 1959, also known as The Day the Music Died, his legacy lives on, as does his widow, Maria Elena Holly, who will accept the award on his behalf. Holly would have celebrated his 75th birthday today.
