Toddler Found Bound and Gagged in Closet at Scene of Triple-Homicide
A two-year-old boy was discovered today bound and gagged inside a closet at home that was the scene of a triple-homicide, and his parents are among the victims.
"Police say three bodies, two of them the child's parents, were discovered [a]round noon at a home on the corner of Phillips and Williams streets," notes KTLA.
When the investigation first got underway, the child was believed missing. The Banning police launched a search for the missing boy, and he was located on the premises about three hours later.
Authorities believe the toddler may have passed out from the heat, though they say the child is in good condition.
Few details have been made available about the murder victims, though the child's parents are described as "African Americans in their late 20s or early 30s." Information about the third victim, a female, is not known. Banning police believe this is not a murder-suicide, and are treating the case as a homicide.
