Mandeville Brush Fire Nearly Contained, Zero Injuries Reported
In addition to the Sun Valley and Kern County wildfires, a slow-moving hillside blaze ignited in Mandeville Canyon outside of Brentwood on Monday afternoon.

As of 8:30pm on Monday, the brush fire was 80% contained, and previously evacuated residents were permitted to return to their homes, reports CBS LA.
The fire, which was reported at 4:10pm on Monday, has burned about ten acres of hillside brush and forced the closure of Mandeville Canyon Road.
The blaze has not expanded in size since reported. No structures were threatened, and zero injuries have been broadcast.
Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
