Rock-Throwing Bandits Steal $50K Worth of High-End Coats from Studio City Boutique
Two burglars successfully heisted Maxine Boutique in Studio City on Monday morning using state-of-the-art tools.
After tossing a rock through the boutique's window, the bandits snatched an estimated $50k in high-end coats, reports LA Daily News. The seemingly seasoned thieves escaped before police arrived.
The business was hit by two men who knew what they were doing, and worked so quickly that, "before the alarm even goes off, they're in and out," said Sgt. Ernie Fischer.
Police will review surveillance video of the incident, which occurred around 3am, to identify the suspects.
