Boy Injured by Crossbow After Throwing Rocks at Cars

Throwing rocks at cars has never been a good idea, but for one San Diego kid, the dangerous pastime almost turned deadly: a passing motorist decided that what the boy was doing was so uncool, it warranted being shot with a crossbow.

The San Diego Union Tribune reports that the boy, whose name and age haven't been released, was tossing rocks at passing vehicles on Monday outside his home in Loma Vista with a friend when the driver of a black Toyota RAV4 pulled over, whipped out a crossbow and fired, hitting the boy in the abdomen.

The boy was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, and according to CBS News, he is expected to recover fully. No one has been arrested in connection to the incident as of yet.

This is exactly the kind of vigilante action we need to see more of in Canada to deal with little wastrels like that rock throwing kid. I'm sick of laws that put the good of society at "cross" purposes with individual rights.

Good on the guy who used the cross bow ... I would love to give him a broadhead crossbow bolt for next time so that the next kid he shoots bleeds out like should have happened here.
