Metro Bus Crashes into Double-Decker CitySights LA Tour Bus

Los Angeles Metro bus riders experienced a surprise stop on Sunday afternoon while rolling along Wilshire Boulevard near Linden Drive. The bus rear-ended a double-decker CitySights LA tour bus. Luckily, the tour bus was empty.

"Of the 20-25 people on the MTA bus, 15 people complained of injuries" such as cuts and bruises, said Sergeant Robert Maycott of the Beverly Hills Police Department, reports KTLA.

Nine passengers were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

  • i was on that bus and there were way more than 20-25 people on it. it was so full that people were standing in the aisles, including myself. but thankfully, i was able to hop off the bus right after the accident without having sustained any injuries.
