The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) aired live from L.A. on Sunday night, marking the 27th installment of the highly anticipated awards show. While epic musical acts and plenty of eye candy kept audiences glued to the tube, everyone (and every news site) seems to be talking about one thing - Beyoncé's big announcement.

Following her performance, the fierce songstress unbuttoned her sparkly purple jacket to reveal and rub her baby bump, publicly announcing her pregnancy to the world.

The songstress turns 30 next month and has reportedly been planning to get pregnant by the time she waves goodbye to her roaring twenties.

Love is on top for Beyoncé and hubby Jay-Z.
